Brief Synopsis:

A comprehensive collection of one page synopses of 100 women of major importance in our history. Presents information in chronological order, contains timeline, and a trivia quiz.

Long Synopsis:

The book begins in 1503 BC and ends by telling the stories of women who are still making history. It's a fascinating book, a unique consideration of world history. Each page had a pen-and-ink drawing of the subject or, in the case of more modern women, a photo. I did not try to describe the them, lacking words to adequately describe the clothes of the hair styles. Some pages had other pictures also. I did include the captions. I left in the parenthetical pronunciations of the names; I didn't have all the dictionary symbols for the vowels used so I wrote them in letters to make the proper sounds, e.g., "e" with a straight line to indicate a hard e, I wrote as ee; for the schwa I used the letter a if the letter came at the end of the word and a "u" if it was in the middle of a syllable.)
