Membership Costs

Groups can choose to pay for individual "sponsored subscriptions" per student/client, choose to purchase a block of books to manage for students/clients or do both. Either option allows access to Bookshare.org services for one year. Please see the pricing below for each of these options. As of October 1, 2007, all schools and students in the United States receive access to Bookshare.org at no charge. This applies to both of the access options below.

Purchase a block of books for use by all registered students and staff (Manage book downloads for students/clients)

Purchase one or more individual sponsored subscription/s (for use by each registered student/client only)

Payment Options

Once a school or group creates an account, they can login to pay for services online with a credit card (Visa or Mastercard), submit a check, or submit a purchase order by mail or fax. U.S. schools that qualify will have their fees waived as of October 1, 2007.

* For practical reasons, members wishing to download more than 100 books a month should email support@bookshare.org to request extending the limit once the limit is reached.
