The Boxcar Children have been chosen to be on an exciting new show! A camera crew is following the Aldens around the city of Philadelphia as they compete with another team in a search for clues. But the search isn't easy, and someone is trying to give them the wrong directions! Who is trying to ruin the game?
The Boxcar children visit their cousins who live near an amusement park. When they go for a day of fun they find a mystery that can lead them to a dangerous situation.
Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny used to live alone in a boxcar. Now they have a home with their grandfather, and are going to visit their cousins Joe and Alice. To the children's delight, Joe and Alice live near a wonderful amusement park. The Aldens offer to take care of the animals from the recently closed Greenfield Animal Shelter. They have another mystery in their hands when they discover that most of the animals belong to an old woman who is missing.
