Thirteen Year old hannah is very embarrassed by her Grandfather Will's outbursts while watching a documentary on the Holocaust. She doesn't understand what the big deal is, it was in the past right. But while they the family were celebrating Passover, she is asked to go see if the prophet Elija is coming, she opens the door, and is transported to another world. She is Chaya, a jewish girl living in 1941 in Poland, and her village is captured by the germans and taken to a concentration camp. hannah AKA Chaya learns first hand what the Holocaust is all about.
