This is a mystery and thriller surrounding the lives of two sisters, Abby who was born with a birthmark which the doctors called a port-wine stain which disfigured her face and Mallory her older sister who was her mother's favorite.
After their parents mysterious deaths, the institutionalization of Mallory for her behavior, and later the mysterious death of Abby's husband,the sisters were drawn together to try and find out the mystery surroundingd these tragic deaths and rebuild their relationship which was nonexistent in their childhood.
