This book does an excellent job of conveying the true purpose of Christmas. The story of a lawyer so obsessed with his work that he cant make time for his family, and the little boy who asks him for money to buy shoes for his dying mother demonstrates that Christmas is more than just buying gifts. Christmas is about small, but significant acts of compassion, and realizing that love and family are more precious than anything money can buy. In a culture where Christmas is associated with spending money, everyone should read this book.
