This novel is an inspiring tale of a girl who is actually deaf. The town's people including her parents think she has a mental disability. It is a good romance and an inspiring read. Annie is a very strong character. She has taught herself to do many things in spite of her disability. She has determination that every reader can learn from. She has a fierce love that also holds through everything. I would recomend this book to anyone who likes a good romance. It also might be inspiring to the deaf or anyone with a disability.
