- Synopsis
- Setting: In and around St. Joseph's Hospital. Every marriage has its vital signs. Dr. Michael Forsythe and his wife, Polly, are coping badly after a devastating loss. He works all the time; she sleeps late and shops. Their marriage is flagging and they don't know how to revive it, until a fourteen-year-old patient of Michael's comes to live with them. This child forces them to make some tough choices-but her presence breathes new life into their dying marriage. Because of her, Michael and Polly rediscover the deep and abiding love they still share.
