- Synopsis
- In January 2004, America's national attention was riveted by the longest prison standoff in history and the brutal hostage-taking of Corrections Officer Lois Fraley. A pair of violent convicts at the Arizona State Prison-Lewis Complex breached a prison watchtower after a failed breakout attempt, taking Fraley and another Correctional Officer captive in a siege that would last for fifteen days. For over two weeks, the inmates would lead negotiators, tactical police, paramilitary planners, prison officials, the governor's office and news media through a maze of madness.
