This is an excellent book for parents and teachers of someone with a learning disability. It gives a quick simplified overview of various types of learning problems, and discusses difficulties associated with each one. Practical suggestions are offered to assist in limiting the effects of a disability. The list of support organizations given in this book is very helpful. I have personally used some of them my-self. Most of all, the positive reinforcement for and support of the person with a disability is emphasized in this book.I would consider this to be a wonderful resource for quick reference. I found it to be an excellent review to refresh my memory when working with various types of disabilities. I will refer this book as a good read to others involved with disability issues.
