- Synopsis
- The doctor's prescription for the tart anxiety and jangled nerves wrought by Christie Ford's fast-paced life called for a complete change of atmosphere. And so bearing financial sacrifice, the Fords pack a trailer and head from Los Angeles to a desert trailer camp. At first Christie is depressed, especially by her problematic neighbors. But gradually through her relationship with an educated hobo and increasingly meaningful family living, she changes. Her most valuable association is with Joel, who accepts her only when she abandons her hard camouflaged exterior. There is much growth among many in this worthwhile expedition in human relations.
