Well written YA novel about a teen, Mia with synesthesia. Mia doesn't know that what she has is a neurological 'cross-wiring' and not something 'freakish' as she fears. Great descriptions of how Mia "sees" letters and words and numbers as having colors and textures, and how that affects her ability to learn a foreign language and learn math.
