BORING! Couldn't have been slower or more repetitive. The answer is Yes, Jesus really did exist. But quite frankly the evidence both for and against is pretty flimsy. I found Bart Ehrman to be enamored with himself and the scholarly elite. There were some bubble bursters for the biblically ignorant like me: The books of the new testament weren't written by the apostles as attributed but by anonymous authors over a hundred years later based on oral tradition and contemporary writings. Jesus thought judgement would happen within his generation - and it STILL hasn't happened. What a downer.
