- Synopsis
- [From the back cover] It was a mistake to insult King Laza of Obran, as Zargal discovered when the King's curse hit him. As the son of the Duke, Zargal was supposed to uphold the dignity of the House of Szar. But now he couldn't stop eating; and the more he ate, the greater he great; the more he grew, the more he must eat. Eventually no hope was left for the still-growing giant but to seek the pardon and help of King Laza. But then he ran smack into another curse--the terrible curse laid upon the House of Obran by the ancient Queen Godescalc. That curse had twisted Laza and was now destroying the lovely Princess Bellora. To save himself and the Princess, Zargal must seek the even Queen in the horror-haunted swamp to which she had fled. That seemed an impossible task. And there was a slight complication. Queen Godescalc was under a subtle and fearful curse herself!
