VANSITTART SMITH is a learned scientist. He pursues several branches of knowledge. He starts with zoology and botany, goes on to chemistry and finally settles on Egyptology. He goes to Paris to consult a document at the Louvre. He falls asleep and is not missed by the staff when they lockup for the night. He awakens about 01:00 AM and eventually sees an Egyptian looking attendant moving furtively through the rooms. The attendant unwinds the shrouds about a mummy. She is beautiful and the attendant pours some liquid from a crystal imbibed in the ring. The liquid spills and as he cleans it up, he comes face-to-face with VANSITTART SMITH. The attendant is Sosra the Egyptian who has achieved near immortality. A jealous priest in the distant past and he had fallen in love with the same woman. The woman is the mummy that the Egyptian has unwrapped. The priest dies but Sosra lives on through the years searching for the cure that the priest mentioned was to be found. He finally finds the cure and meets presumably with his long lost love in death. Written by Pranav Lal.
