- Synopsis
- The colonel has been living at Pond Cottage inthe peaceful Dorset village of Frog's End for nearly a year. Although still regarded by some in the village as a newcomer, he is respected by most for his willingness to 'do his bit' - and for his role in solving the murder of the late Lady Swynford. On a tour of the village, collecting money for a 'Save the Donkeys' campaign, the colonel encounters another dead body - that of the once-famous actress, Lois Delaney, apparently electrocuted in her bath. As the police embark on their investigation, the colonel makes some enquiries of his own and comes up with a most surprising theory . . .
