The ABCs of Bookshare for Educators - Find Books

Ways to Find Books

There are many ways to find books in Bookshare's vast collection. You can perform a standard search, advanced search or browse for books. To find a specific edition of a book, search with the ISBN (International Standard Book Number) which is a 10 or 13 digit number found on the copyright page and the back of the book. Can't find the book you want? You can submit a book request and we will obtain the book for you. Download the Find and Request Books Guide PDF Icon Word Icon

Request a Book

Can't find the book you need? You can request that the book be added to our collection. Once you are logged into your account, go to the Help Center and select the "Request a Book" link and follow the instructions to fill out the Book Request Form.

Note: If the book you need is a textbook and your student has an IEP, we can often acquire it quickly through the National Instructional Materials Access Center (NIMAC), a federally-funded repository of digital versions of K-12 print textbooks and related printed core instructional materials.
