Personal recommendations are titles suggested for you based on books you have previously read. To see your recommendations, log in to Bookshare and view them on the My Bookshare page and the Discover page. To manage recommendation preferences, follow these steps.

Recommendations for Individual Members are automatically enabled. You can manage your recommendation preferences or turn them off with these steps.

• Log in to Bookshare
• On My Bookshare, go to My Account > Preferences
• Under Discover Page Preferences, check / uncheck Show Personal Recommendations
• Select up to 5 categories to display on your Discover page

How do I manage my student’s recommendation preferences?

Student book recommendations are initially disabled. Teachers can turn on their student’s recommendations and manage their settings with these steps.

• Log in to Bookshare
• Go to Members > My Account > Preferences
• Select a student
• Under Discover Page Preferences, check / uncheck Personal Recommendations (coming January 2023)
• Select up to 5 categories for recommendations
