Listen to human-narrated audiobooks on Android devices

Listen to books in DAISY Audio with Legere Reader

  1. Log into Bookshare.org on mobile browser.
  2. Set your download preference on your account to DAISY audio.
  3. Download your desired book in either “audio” or DAISY 2 depending on which is available.
  4. Approve any pop-up windows that ask for permission to allow download.
  5. Once the book has finished downloading, open Legere Reader.
  6. Select the “add” button or + sign and then select “choose file” from the add document window.
  7. Select the zipped file for the book in the downloads folder of your phone.
  8. The book will now be available within the Legere app. Select the book within the app and press play to listen.
