I have a Mac computer. Do I just have to use my computer's built-in text-to-speech program to hear the text?
Mac users can read books using the Bookshare Web Reader, or a Daisy player such as Kurzweil 3000 or other software capable of reading Bookshare DAISY text.
If you do not wish to use a Daisy player and prefer VoiceOver, you can read Bookshare books in your Mac web browser and use VoiceOver to speak the text aloud by opening the xml file in the book folder. Changing the name of the xml file replacing the xml with html may be required on some macs before this option functions properly.
