This is the 4th book in the famous “Dragonriders of Pern” series. I believe that it is the best, and it is a must read. Anne Mccaffrey brings us to a climax in adventure, and at the end leaves us wanting more. I love watching the character of Ruth. Although he isn’t a human, I find who he is fascinating. I know there is something more that is not revealed in this book about the little guy. I can’t wait to learn what. This is a must read for any Science fiction readers, it is quite interesting. It is my favorite book, and should be read in order of the other books (The Dragonriders of Pern, Dragonwing, and Dragonquest) before it. This book is a little more adult oriented, but still is not really violent. But one thing’s for sure, I was dieing to know what happened next through this book. It is a must read!
