Tai-Pan is one of the best novels the world will ever see. It tells the story of a man's struggle to keep his empire alive in a time of change. Dirk Struan is a terrific character, fully developed, and fully loved. This book will be loved by people from all ages. Although its length may at first be danting, once its over you will wish it didnt have an ending.
