Wordsmiths, Unite! If you love the pitfalls and pratfalls of the English language, read this! If you are a Bookshare proofreader, read this and laugh! I had such fun proofreading this book! The author comes from several generations of authors and covers a wide variety of topics. I laughed aloud at many of the family stories, such as Anne, her brother, and parents first noting all the errors on a printed menu before actually considering what to order. She differentiates between "courtly" book readers and "carnal" book readers. Which are you and how did you get there? There is a chapter on proofreading itself that had me in stitches. So how do you categorize a book about books? Highly recommended, enjoy!
