- Synopsis
- We must come to grips with the fact that leadership can be both good and bad. Americans, for both historical and political reasons, tend to assume that leaders are by definition good. They refuse to label as leaders those who may be considered lacking - people such as Nixon and Hitler, for example. In order to truly encourage good leadership, however, it is imperative that we acknowledge the shades of gray - and black.
