- Synopsis
- Although the sense-and-respond efforts of early adopters are works-in-progress, their experiences of the concept of adaptive enterprise reveal much about the problems and benefits-expected and unexpected-of the ongoing transformation process. This chapter looks at the case of IBM's Palisades Executive Conference Center to offer insights into the process of developing buy-in and commitment to the adoption of a sense-and-respond model.
