If you are looking for a book that reminds you of good family values then Where The Wild Rose Blooms by Lori Wick will suit your tastes perfectly. It is a good work of fiction set back in time, and it shows good morals and values to the people of today. It is not the sort of book you read if you are searching for a thriller. The best comparison to grasp is the Little House on The Prairie novels by Laura Ingalls Wilder. This book reflects Christian values and a setting like that of Ms. Wilder’s non-fiction novels. In this novel there is a strong character that stands out far from the rest. This man is strong, has a profound faith in the Lord, and stands up for himself and his friends seamlessly. Many do not consider Clayton Taggart the most important character but his strength is a model for all. This novel is suitable for people of all ages. It is a comforting work of fiction that does not move to fast or have any sudden lurches. It is a good book for you if you are looking for a calm sitting, true love, and characters that remind you frighteningly of yourself.
