I should have read the Bookshare synopsis more closely. It does say it is Wesley Clark's commentary on military and political policy. However, I relied on the title of the book, which was a mistake.<p> Even so, the last two thirds of the book is such a blatant presidential pitch that the title is laughable.<p> The first third of the book is somewhat interesting in its description of the Iraq War from the point of view of a retired general. It discusses the strategy, tactics and weapons that resulted in the American victory.<p> The middle third of the book is simply a critique of the Bush presidency, particularly from a foreign-policy perspective.<p> The final third of the book is Clark's presidential platform including everything from foreign policy to domestic economic policy. He concludes the book with a call for a change in leadership.<p> If you're looking for insight into winning modern wars, don't waste your time.
