- Synopsis
- One day, Bunny Lune gets a letter from his friend Pyonko, in Japan, about how she celebrated the full moon with tea and rice dumplings. "There is a tradition that rabbits live on the moon and make rice dumplings," she says. "I wish you could have been there." Bunny Lune has the same wish. More than anything, he wants to go to the moon. But it's not easy for a rabbit, even a determined rabbit, to make that journey--until he gets advice from a traveler who knows the way. Kae Nishimura's quirky humor and originality shine from every page of this radiantly silly picture book about a moonstruck rabbit who gets his wish.
