- "Being considered by Trek Beverages for the V-Cola account is great news for Chikara Advertising. You had heard that Chikara didn’t stand a chance and would run a distant third behind Draper Advertising and Sterling Advertising, and you’re still not sure that Trek will sign with you. You fear that Trek has already been negotiating with these other advertising firms, and they just haven’t been able to agree on compensation terms. There’s even a chance they might just be using Chikara as leverage. It’s hard to see why Trek wouldn’t select Draper, given their existing relationship and great results. Then there is Sterling, which has proven experience in the vitamin and health food market. You’re very wary that Chikara is putting a lot of time and energy into this bid but is only being used by Trek to squeeze a better deal out of Draper or Sterling."
