- Synopsis
- The fascinating story of a boy struggling with a mysterious painting. Milo is 11 years old. His mother has died recently and he is going to spend the holidays in the countryside, in his grandfather's house, where he is sometimes able to dream of his mother. One day, riding his bicycle with his friend Daniela, Milo discovers an old garage full of old objects. So he steals a strange book and hides it under the pillow. From that moment, instead of dreaming of his mother, Milo begins to dream of an old and dirty attic, where a painter paints terrifying scenes of desperate children. In that place, Milo also meets Coquin Mechant, a boy of his own age, who asks to become his friend. What happens in that attic? Who is the painter? What do the terrifying paintings represent? But above all, who is Coquin Mechant? Milo will understand too late that evil uses human weaknesses to assert its power.
