The Door Within is a 310 page independent fantasy novel for young adults published in 2005 and written by Wayne Thomas Batson. This work is the first novel of a trilogy. It is a religious allegory in which A teenager who lacks confidence is called into another world to be trained, tested, and join a struggle against an association of treasonous and evil knights. The publisher characterizes the book in these descriptions:
THREE ANCIENT SCROLLS BECKON AID'AN THOMAS TO ENTER ANOTHER WORLD: A REALM OF KNIGHTS, WARRIORS, KINGS, UNUSUAL CREATURES, AND MYSTERIOUS GLIMPSES WHO CAN TRAVEL BETWEEN WORLDS. SOON AIDAN IS TRAINING TO BECOME THE TWELFTH KNIGHT OF AN ELITE UNIT WHO WILL JOIN ALLEBLE IN ITS LONG FIGHT AGAINST THE EVIL PARAGORY. WITH THE FATE OF TWO WORLDS HANGING IN THE BALANCE, WILL AIDAN BE WILLING TO RISK EVERYTHING AND TRUST THE ONE TRUE KING?
the enemy warrior the youthful Knight spoke calmly "I will never deny my King."
"In the tradition of C. S. Lewis' Narnia Series, The Door Within beckons the reader to come along on an epic fantasy adventure to far away lands and the more near places of the heart. Readers of all ages will find that The Door Within delivers heart-pounding thrills as well as themes and principles that will liner with you long after you put the book down. The Door Within reminds us that there is much more to life than what we see before our eyes.
I highly recommend this book!" JOSH D. MCDOWELL
