Jinx High by Mercedes Lackey. We are pulled into a wild vortex of magic, bad weather and teenagers in this fantastic adventure. We join Diana Tregarde once more in another of her thrilling adventures. I love watching the action that Lackey makes everyone go through (even though some of the action is a little gruesome.) This book packs a heart-racing ride every step of the way. I love the character of Di. Lackey really struck gold when she created her. She knows self-defense, has an awesome car, and is a psi-trained in 3 disciplines. I love her sense of humor. Her little intro in this book will keep you rolling on the floor with laughter all the way through. I recommend this book to just about everyone who is looking for an adventure that focuses on people around the ages of 17 and 18. I guarantee that if you like Sci-Fi you will love this book. Lackey fans will really be missing something if they don’t read this book. And really if you haven’t read the other books in the series, you will still enjoy this book immensely! It is so a must-read!
