Reviews
4 out of 5
By Debee Norling on Jul 17, 2010
Cutting-edge science, fast-paced plot, conflict and social appeal --- these are this novel's virtues. Basically, it's what you expect from Child and Preston; best-selling thriller material. For me, the book was a bit predictable, evil happens when scientists run rampant, religious cults and government officials make typical appearances, and the solution is a satisfying explosion and win for all stakeholders. I rated it 4 because I would have enjoyed more surprises and would have liked more characters to have unusual traits. But if you like Preston and Child novels, this one won't disappoint.
