Describing Stranger In A Strange Land takes away its magic. Yes there is a plot. Mostly though Stranger In A Strange Land is an experience, something to be "groked". "Water brothers" became part of Jefferson Airplane's lyrics. Heinlein left us all a gift. He has a place in my heart made more special by the world he gave us through Michael Valentine.
