- Synopsis
- When her engagement comes to nothing, Jenny Fox devotes herself to the promotion and rejuvenation of Cupid's Corner. She decides that, since Cupid's Corner is famous as the elopement capital of Kansas, the town should break its former record of marriages between July 4 and Labor Day. Joe Avery, an "outsider", who now lives in Cupid's Corner as editor of the town newspaper, is less than enthusiastic about the project, but not about Jenny. Doc Hobbs, who wants to retire, complicates his plans when he brings Jenny's former fiancé back to town to run the clinic temporarily, but "Pritchie", a nurse, ends up being a source of help and comfort to Joe.
