Synopsis
When they first met, Rod Jackson was a model and Bob Harris a professional bodybuilder and this book chronicles their relationship and eventual marriage. Both men recall growing up gay in frequently homophobic society; as gay teenagers they both experienced unhappiness whilst trying to accept their sexuality. The book tells of the incident that led them both to admitting openly that they were gay at the risk of professional ruin and personal ostracism, and describes their struggle to become married. The book reveals what it is like to be involved in a gay relationship and marriage, and how the experience has made these two men into outspoken advocates for gay rights.
