- Synopsis
- Sixteen-year-old Gina falls in love with Rhyder who is older than 20. Gina asks him to make love to her, and when he tells her to "go home and grow up" she runs through the street with only a blanket around her. Because her family lives in a small town, her reputation is damaged, but her grandfather talks Rhyder into marrying her. However, the marriage does not last long. Rhyder agrees to pay her a sum of money and annul the marriage. Nine years later Rhyder returns to Maine and they cross paths again. However, this time she is a woman.
