Synopsis: Young Noah Adler, passionate, ruthlessly idealistic, is the prodigal son of Montreal's Jewish ghetto. Finding tradition in league with self-delusion, he attempts to shatter the ghetto's illusory walls by entering the foreign territory of the goyim.
