Great biography about Clarence Birdseye that we know from Birds Eye frozen veggies. Turns out he was inspired to perfect the freezing process of fresh fish when he watched Inuits ice fishing in Labrador (while he was running a fox fur farm). Weeks before the stock market crash CW Post bought him out and he sailed through the depression a millionaire! This inquisitive and inventive businessman held hundreds of patents including lightbulbs we still use today. He also did field research on Rocky mountain spotted fever, hunted whales and made paper out of waste cane fiber in Peru. His life and this book are full of adventure!
