- Synopsis
- Critic Xavier Thaxton detests popular culture. But when a wildly improbable plunge into a pool of radioactive waste gives him an allergy to High Art and transforms him into (of all things) a costumed superhero, he is forced to reconsider his values--and his life. This journey of self-discovery is assisted by Xavier's nephew, "the Mick,", a retro-punk teenager, by Bari, a high fashion coturier, who becomes Xave's lover, and by Tim Bowman, the creator of many "stalwart" superhero comic characters.
