- Synopsis
- Imagine a universe with a force of gravity a billion times greater than ours. Individual people would be noticeably attracted to each other. Stars would be only a mile across and burn out after only a year. This story starts several centuries after a human spaceship somehow crossed from our universe to the super gravity universe. Some parts of the ship imploded because of the high gravity, but some of the crew survived and live on the remnants. They live, in part, because with the high gravity, the interstellar medium is much denser than in our universe. But, now generations later, fewer stars are forming and spewing out the gases into the interstellar medium that humans need to live. The tech the ship brought is wearing out, the nebula where the ship fell is wearing, the human civilization is wearing out. Is hope durable enough in this bizarre place?
