- Synopsis
- This study reports on the results of pilot studies in 10 countries, which projected how existing national development plans could be implemented if aid were increased in line with the 2005 Gleneagles commitment to double aid to Africa. The study seeks to determine whether increased funding on the donor side could be matched by careful spending plans by recipients. The study also looks at the macroeconomic impacts of higher aid flows, and how macroeconomic policies could be designed to support good outcomes. There is no subject index.
