Synopsis: Nobody knows why there are only 300 humans left alive on the Earth 50 million years in the future. Almost no one can agree on whether it is better to try to restart the human race in this new era, or to move on to another using stasis fields so the people do not have to endure an unfriendly "realtime." Then, when one of the most talented people is killed, it is obvious that someone has a secret that may affect everyone's future and that someone is willing to kill to preserve the secret. From the clues available, the killer is most likely one of the most talented members of the group. Nonetheless, it is up to 21st century detective Wil Brierson to come up with a plan to learn who the killer is without endangering others, or perhaps even this entire remnant of humanity.
