- Synopsis
- This book examines challenging and unique clinical cases that present in various modalities of ophthalmic practice including private MD/OD office, private OD office, and in an ophthalmology department within a level 1 trauma center. The chapters will be divided by anatomy from anterior to posterior segment of the eye. Within each chapter, anatomically relevant cases illustrating a unique condition or challenging diagnosis will be presented with ancillary testing and images were present and relevant. Each chapter will also contain clinical pearls that have been highlighted and summarized throughout each presented case to further illustrate the relevance of the case report and the importance of diagnostic ability for the common clinician. Complex Cases in Clinical Ophthalmology Practice intends to illustrate the various iterations of unique cases that are not so uncommon in three unique and common styles of ophthalmic practice and will serve as a resource for all levels of individuals working in ophthalmic care.
