- Synopsis
- A collection of short stories about fishing, hunting elk, bear, deer, and mountain lion, and even a tale about wild horses, all set in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. The yarns follow the adventures of a band of hunters, including the governor of Colorado, a sheriff, a doctor, the CEO of several steel mills, "good old Bill" who always has a bottle of bourbon or scotch, Tex, their wrangler and their guide Hopi Joe. Contains some Native American stereotypes and the matching language used in the 1930s, when this book was published.
