Synopsis: Sexuality, Masculinities and Resistance in South India unravels the relations of domination, subordination, and resistance in the context of sexuality and masculinities in contemporary Malabar, South India.Exploring a taxonomy of masculinities, based on the lived experiences of gender and sexual non-conforming men, this book documents the hierarchical character of masculine articulations on the one hand, and forms of everyday resistance to hegemonic masculinity, on the other.
