- Synopsis
- Molly is stuck. Stuck in Raton, New Mexico. Stuck in the Harvey House uniform. Stuck pretending to be eighteen when she just had her thirteenth birthday. No more. Molly has new friends, including Gaston, the chef, who introduces her to a world of food she never knew existed, and Susana, the kitchen helper, who shares her Mexican culture and community. With Susana’s help, she concocts a plan involving love letters, her sister, poetry and, inadvertently, the notorious outlaw Genius Jim. Will she be successful? Or will her own growing love of her new home and her new life get in the way?
