Synopsis: Mathematicians are often seen through a lens of stereotypes: logical, detached thinkers who live in a world of abstract concepts, numbers, and formulas. These perceptions can make mathematics—and mathematicians—seem distant, unapproachable, or even intimidating. But they only scratch the surface.
