- Synopsis
- This handbook explores the concept referred to as the &“coloniality of power&”, and the circumstances in which entrepreneurs find themselves, whilst also acknowledging the persistence of power relations in the entrepreneurial arena. The aim is to challenge entrepreneurial practices and discourses and theories on these practices. The handbook addresses two main areas: 1. entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial situations that involve forms of coloniality of power; and 2. the conceptualisation and categorisations used in entrepreneurship, with knowledge that would benefit from being decolonised. Drawing on the expertise of leading scholars, this handbook provides up-to-date coverage of issues confronting minoritised entrepreneurs, providing a potential way forward to making invisible under-represented entrepreneurs visible.
