The Smoke Ring by Larry Niven. This is the second book in the series written by Larry Niven. The intensity the reader is thrown into right at the start of the book is startling. I think that this book should be read. I really enjoyed the personality of Kendy, the thinking computer. I think that if a whole other series would be started with him as the focal point, the books would be very good and sell. I like the odd mixture of technology used in these books. I believe that any Sci-Fi fan should read this book. I believe that the Integral Trees should be read first, but other than that, it is a great book, and every one should try this book. That is unless you cringe in the face of danger!
